FAQ

Why was CamWHO created?

CamWHO was created to raise awareness about global health issues and the democratic process that governs it.

Do I have to be a medical student?

You do not have to be a medical student to participate in the CamWHO conference. The event is open for anyone with an interest in global health. The diversity of the participants at the CamWHO simulations creates a unique dynamic that enhances the quality and outcome of the event. Former delegates have studied public health, political science, law, medicine and biomedical engineering.

Is prior experience with UN diplomacy or the WHO a requirement?

Not at all. Participants attend the WHO simulation to learn from it and obtain the skills and knowledge that can benefit them later in their careers.

When is the event?

CamWHO 2020 will take place online, on 21-22 August 2020.

How much does it cost to participate?
